LDB Master Series #97

Hello, this is a collection of masters I would like to seed here. I've been taping shows for more than 20 years and have an
awful lot of masters. Most of them are in the old cassette format, some others are on MiniDisc and others are on CD. I've
taped many shows of many artists over the years, so don't be surprised if you will find many different artists taped! Some
shows are already circulating, some others have not circulated through collectors yet. But most of all, enjoy!
They all come from my masters!

We're now close to the end of my Master Series, which will end on #100 (although I have many more masters) with a special
three-releases covering rock, progressive and jazz. These three releases will be very special: at least two of them have
never seen the light in trading and the third one is an upgrade of an existing show. So, just be patient and follow my master
series till release 100 and you won't be disappointed!

My next series won't cover masters, but shows that have something special in it. Could be a special guest (as the recent Black
Crowes gig with Jimmy Page), a special occasion or maybe a show where an accident happened. It'll be lots of fun for you
guys!

I know there are a lot of Marillion fans on DIME, and many of them are curious if I'm going to put more masters on my series.
well, this is going to be the last one and it's dedicated to all of them, especially to those with which I have shared so
many nice moments while touring with the band. This is one is hadn't listened for maybe 10 years, and I was so surprised
that my master were in such good shape after more than 20 years! It really sounds very good, considering that at the time I
had a cheap equipment.

I clearly remember that night. Marillion was a big act back then, and the set you're about to listen was the gig before
last of the 'Welcome to the Garden Party' tour, where the band headlined but also supported Queen to huge stadium audiences.
The band was headlining the festival in Milano, which had Gary Moore as well. The bad thing about the show was that the stage
was in the middle of the football field, and the audience was sitting on the stands, so there was a big distance between the band and the audience.
Even Fish aknowledged that "we're too far away from each other...". The show started sometime at 10.30 PM and the band
played the usual 'restricted' set for festivals. In the setlist there was also Market Square Heroes with Let's twist again
medley as second encore but unfortunately at midnight they did not allow the band to play it, so the show ends with
Forgotten Sons. Nevertheless the show is great and the band in top form.

This is my master, which I traded back in the 80's but never managed to transfer it properly, so here it is, dedicated to
all the cucumber lovers of the world!!!
