PINK FLOYD

STARS CAN FRIGHTEN

Venue: October 26th, 1994 – Earl’s Court Exhibition Hall, London, England.

Media: 3 CD-R
Source: AUD
X-ref: "Complete Earls Court Volume XII".

Notes:

One from Earl's Court London shows, closing European leg of 1994 "The Division Bell" World Tour.
Complete recording from alternate source.

In contrary to Recorder 1 sourced bootlegs, this is unprocessed, raw rip.
Matter of fact, I’m not sure if f.ex. "Complete Earls Court Volume XII" is pure audio at all (very
low frequency, strange metalic sound)…
Here You won't have any questions... Sound quality is fantastic. Deep, sharp and well definied.
What is also important, audience is quiet, there are no screeming people near the taper.

Audience recorder 2. From very low generation tape. Revised copy (balanced and speed corrected).
Lineage: A2 Cass TDK D90s[Low gen]>AKAI Stereo Cassette Deck>SoundBlaster>CoolEditPro>PCM 44,1kHz 16bit WAV>SHN.

Show identification:
First set starts with „Astronomy Domine”. „Take It Back” and „Coming Back To Life” were performed
before „Sorrow”. Guy Pratt yelled [„...back to London...”] during „Run Like Hell”.

I don't think this a Wojtek release or even his comments. I think he just did the artwork. I say this because his sound quality grades are usually reliable, and this one definitely is NOT. This is NOT an EX recording. I give it an AUD B/B+, with the second set perhaps being a little better. It is nowhere near EX. It's a muffled but listenable recording. I haven't compared it to the Complete Earl's recording (maybe the Run Like Hell is taken from that recording, definitely a different source) but I wouldn't recommened this recording unless you are a completist. Thanks though, Doc!
