Sgt Weatherman & Reeling In Floyd

Back in, oh, roughly 2005, quite a few recordings appeared on a Pink Floyd trading group (FloydArtifacts - a Yahoo Group). These were all Reel-to-Reel > DAT > digital transfer to .wav using a professional DAT deck > .shn > trade DVDs. These hit the torrents (Y!) in about 2008. Some of these reels were upgrades to previously circulating versions of the shows. Some were not. A few frisky members of Y! went to the work of cutting the concerts into tracks, as well as lots of other clean-up. These modified concerts were then torrented at Y!

One of the movers & shakers in the clean-up operation made some jolly good cover artwork for many of the reels. He's also well known for his many compilation series.

In the next few days, I will be posting the Improved Reels projects as well as the various compilations created by Sgt Weatherman. Once again, I must tell you that I am not at all certain that I have all of them. If you have one that I do not, please don't hesitate...

Whenever some evil genius with a weather-control device threatens society, Sgt Weatherman will be there to protect us all. Thanks, buddy!
