Pink Floyd: 08Apr75 Vancouver, British Columbia Opening Night of the 1975 North American Tour
Man of Leisure Music (MoLM) Issued February, 2004 SHN format Expands to three [3] discs
Speed corrected and remastered from tapes given to Danalog by Roy in Canada from what we believe with reasonable certainty to be second generation.
Essentially, the taper gave our source, Roy, a copy of the original tapes some time ago. Recently, Roy contacted MoLM and asked if Danalog would be interested in having a shot at fixing them up and putting them on disc. Of course we were interested! The old Maxells were sent to Danalog in sunny Arizona, and now you get to enjoy the results.
While there is still a fair amount of tape hiss, the overall sound quality of this roio is excellent.
Man of Leisure Music did extensive comparisons with The Azimuth Coordinator, part 1 08Apr75:
< both are taken from the same root source < unknown which is lower gen < AzCo pt 1 actually runs just a bit fast < AzCo pt 1 may have been "dolby-ized" thus muffling it < MoLM version has more audience between tracks < MoLM version much fuller sound but more tape hiss -- tape hiss across too broad a spectrum to defeat
DISC ONE:
1.) Raving and Drooling 2.) You Gotta Be Crazy 3.) Shine On You Crazy Diamond 1-5 4.) Have a Cigar 5.) Shine on You Crazy Diamond 6-9
