notes:
This is an interesting tape to compare. The channels fluctuate on both the bootleg and this
tape but at different spots. I used the bootleg below to compare this tape to...
“Obscured at the Rainbow”- (cass[low or M]>cdr(?)>flac) [69:59] flac EX- (PYCD053)
The sound on this tape is a bit less amplified and less powerful than the source above. The
left channel starts off a bit low and varies throughout the recording.
StM starts off with about 6 seconds missing compared to OBatR.
Time and Breathe (Reprise) on OatR have times when the left channel drops in and out. On this
tape is just seems consistantly lower than the right channel.
Money on the bootleg starts then the left channel drops out immediately. On this tape there is
no sudden drop. It is just consistantly lower.
After Dark Side ends this tape is missing a bit of applause and tunings, prolly about 40
seconds give or take.
Overall this is not a bad version of this date but I do think the bootleg OatR has some better
sound quality.
I removed some leading and trailing silences and eliminated many tics.
