PINK FLOYD: Olympiahalle, Munich-October 12, 1973-Master Tape

Master tape>dat>cd-r>Bias Peak Pro 5.2.1>XACT>flac

Gilmour/Waters/Wright/Mason/w. Dick Parry on sax

Here is a wonderful 1973 Floyd show from the master tape, recorded by the same lad who did the recently posted Emerson, Lake & Palmer 1973 Munich show. The sound quality is EX- and song samples are provided. This one is for those who live "by thy rivers gently flowing, o'er thy prairies verdant growing," in the noble Land of Lincoln.

Setlist:
Disc One: (67:42)
1.Obscured By Clouds/When You're In
2.Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun
3.Careful With That Axe Eugene
4.Echoes
Disc Two: (69:49)
Dark Side Of The Moon:
5.Speak To Me/Breathe/On The Run
6.Time/Breathe (reprise)/The Great Gig In The Sky
7.Money
8.Us And Them/Any Color You Like/Brain Damage
9.Eclipse
10.One of These Days

This is a huge upgrade over Sirene's 'Collector's Edition' that I already had. I rate it B+. Some people say this is the best 1973 show.

Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for this! BTW, the best show from the '73 tour was the gig they did in Boston, on March 14th. It's as highly-rated as possible at the Pink Floyd Concert Database.

I love the '73 shows.

The Boston show gets all the high ratings (for good reason)
But the Hollywood,Florida show (Into Little Pieces)is really good too and Tampa is a little messy but worth the time and effort.

Thanks a million for posting these shows from Munich and Vienna...

1973,the band wasn't tired of playing Dark Side yet.

Cheers.
