This was the first of five gigs Jon is scheduled to perform with the School of Rock All-Stars. (The previous night's show was postponed due to weather.) A very talented bunch of kids, who should be commended not only for their playing and singing abilities, but also for sheer bravery--after all, Yes music is not exactly the easiest stuff to perform. Some interesting surprises in the setlist: First performance of No Opportunity Necessary since when? -- that silly video with the spinning head? :) First time EVER performances of The Venture and Give Love Each Day.

It was nice to see a fairly equal division of boys and girls up on stage. There was a tall Asian girl who played a very-cool looking electric violin. Also, the electric lead of Owner, and the acoustic lead of Roundabout, were played by females.

The first notes of Yours Is No Disgrace caught me off-guard, as there were seating issues occurring around me.

NOTE: Jon sings only on the tracks marked with an asterisk (*).
