Here's a reseed of mine. I first offered this on EZT in Nov. 2004.
I may use this offer as my wildcard, meaning if I can not come up with two recordings from each year (especially without offering something that was recently seeded, i.e. 2005-2007 shows), then I may do other reseeds to cover those situations ....

Previously the complete or almost complete Bath Festival (AUD source) was torrented on EZT in 2004 .... within that offer was a great 79+ minutes version of Johnny Winter. Unfortunately the last 3 tracks had clicks & skips through out. This offer has the last 3 tracks being clean, but from the same source, my analog cassette tape.
But, this offer is 73+ minutes long. The best that I can make of it, is that 4+ minutes of audience encore cheers have been removed after Good Morning Little Schoolgirl, .... but I can not find that any music has been removed/lost. So really to make a definitive version, you could actually combine the 2 mentioned (same source) recordings. Almost as easy as adding these last 3 tracks from this version to the large Bath Fest torrented offer. Of course the proper splicing would have to be done.
Also, maybe one of these may be running at a different speed .... ???
This comes from my analog cassette tape, that I traded for many years ago, so definitely no MP3 here.

Johnny Winter .... June 27, 1970
Bath Festival of Blues & Progressive Music; Shepton Mallet, Somerset, U.K.

12 tracks = 73:11 minutes; grade: vg++
Torrent size: ~467MB (flacs, text, etc.)
comment: Great performance!!
Source: AUD(?)> CASS(?)> CDR> (wav) EAC (secure mode)> FLAC frontend 1.7.1 (level 6; align on sector boundaries)

Many traders list this show as June 28, but June 27 is supposedly the correct date.
The great site: http://tinpan.fortunecity.com/ebony/546/bA1.html .... lists it as 6-28-70, & the great torrent recently on EZT listed 6-27-70. Anyone with a definitive?

Very nice and clear audience recording, taped close to the stage. There are many disturbances through all the recording - and a few loud audience members around the taper, but most of times it would be a very good (excellent for this age), enjoyable recording.

1. intro
2. guess I'll go away
3. rock'n'roll hoochie koo
4. talk to your daughter
5. prodigal son
6. rollin' & tumblin'
7. black cat bone
8. five long years
9. good morning little school girl
(4+ minutes of encore cheer apparently removed)
Encore #1?:
10. johnny b. goode
11. mean town blues [with slide guitar and "walking blues"]
12. eyesight to the blind [encore, rare]

He might have B.O., but his playing certainly does not stink. Very enjoyable even if it's not the greatest recording. The performance transcends the recording quality sometimes.
