Even on the day of the gig it looked like I wasn't going to make it. But my plans to either work on my new computer at my dad's or come here for some "chill time" were thwarted. Still wasn't going to go to the gig as the $50 ticket was a little pricey at the moment. After getting good and ripped in real short order after work I had a change of heart and decided to take the bus down and at least go by the venue or if no luck, go to a friend's house and continue where I left off but at least slow the rapid descent a little bit. Was able to get in the venue on my own terms quite easily. Who dares wins, I guess. Unfortunately even though the start time was supposed to be 8:00, The Charms were on and almost over when I walked in about 7:55. Accidentally bumped the levels a few times so there are just a few flaws or inconsistencies but I took notes on playback and was able to adjust the levels accordingly on the fly through my standalone as it recorded. I was really in no shape to be recording anything or even leave the house but at least no major catastrophes occurred.
