My computer has decided to take a vacation, probably permanently. My drives are all safe - and duplicated. Had to rescue several already to provide today's posts. Sadly, these posts will also be the last until a more permanent solution can be found; I hate using laptops. They are just ... you know... inherently evil.
So, take a break, catch up on some downloads, browse the archives, and chill for a few days. I'll be back ASAP.

I told you...some snow to play in...sounds like a 2terabyte snow cone. If you have to buy a new tower, I would recommend one that's water cooled with a 4-bolt main (like Ford's 1967 427 'side-oiler'). Doctor, heal thyself! Peace, friend...

I can feel your pain. My main computer died a week ago & I'm just getting back online today dreading both the rebuilding I'm going to have to do to get things set up the way I want them & also how far behind I am here :-) .
At least the bright side is that you/we'll have better & faster computers when all is said & done (yeah, cold comfort I know....). Good luck with it all & thanks for everything.
