Wow, an amazing show! One of the best, if not the best show I have ever been to. Arguably the finest first set ever performed ever in the history of Rock And Roll. Some talkers near the taper, but only really audible during the real quiet parts. Some whoops and yells during the louder parts, but what else whould you expect, it is a concert after all. The band and the room were both very high energy.
Mr. Nicholas Mason joined Roger and his band for the second set and encores. What a treat it was seeing Nick on stage, and to watch and hear him do the intro to 'Time.'
Roger dedicated 'Wish You Were Here' to the victims of 9/11 and their familes. He also left out the majority of his rant before "Leaving Beirut" that got many, many boos the week before in Holmdel. Nice moves on both parts in my opinion.
