Peter Gabriel Ventura, Ca The Ventura Theater April 2, 1993
First show of the secret world tour
Info : TCD3 DAT master tcd3 with unknown mic > DAT CLone > DAT Clone at 32khz > Egosys wt2496 digital soundcard > CEPRO > CDWAV > FLAC Taper : Uknown (cant get ahold of person who gave me the dat clone)
1. Come Talk to me 2. Steam 3. Across the River 4. Shaking the Tree 5. Blood of Eden 6. Game Without Frontiers 7. Lovetown 8. Only Us 9. Kiss that Frog 10. Washing in the Water 11. Love to be Loved 12. Solsbury Hill 13. Diggin in the Dirt 14. Sledgehammer 15. Secret World 16. In Your Eyes 17. Biko
Notes : As far as I know, this show is legit, as it was given to me as a "secret warm up show" before Gabriels world tour. The set is much longer than what is listed for the night after, the LA debut in the Glam Club. I have other tapes from the Ventura theater and the sound in there is similar to this tape. He references being at the Ventura theater right before a song in the middle of the setlist. I know many of you will doubt this show, but im not a Gabriel expert, just someone who had this gig with a few other random (but I guess hard to find shows)
Gabriel fans should thank Jesper Moonen for somehow tracking me down and asking me for this. I figured BT was the best way to get this out there. I had no idea this is something Gabriel fans would be looking for.
