Renaissance Live At The Westchester County Center, New York 1976-12-15 FM reel-to-reel - great show and sound - mp3 samples included
This is the first part of a two-fer Renaissance offering. Why is it so hard to find this great group?
This taping was taken from a 1987 WNEW rebroadcast and was directly recorded to the reel you are now listening to. The sound quality is just about perfect for a radio transmission from this era - listen to the samples!
Setlist:
Intro by Allison Steele Carpet Of The Sun Mother Russia At The Harbour Running Hard Conversation Black Flame Touching Once
Lineage: FM ->TDK 150H reel at 3.75ips ->Sound Forge 6.0 at 24 bit 48Khz ->Bit level conversion and resampling to 16 bit 44.1Khz ->FLAC.
No noise processing, no eq, no nothing. This is the raw tape the way I have it!
Enjoy!
A DoinkerTape
ps: For me to bring you the *extremely rare and previously uncirculated* second part of this offering, I need someone to PM me who has specific tour dates for this band from 1971-1974. I have the venue and setlist, just not when the gig took place. Thanks.
