Solo Frippertronics
-------------------------- CAVEAT EMPTOR I've been collecting these solo Frippertronics shows off and on since September 1978 when I got the 2/5/78 show.
Frippertronics is some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard. EVER I've been listening to it for 30 years now and it never ceases to enchant and enthrall me.
Oft times there are several versions of a show, some more complete, or noisier, or more chopped up then others. There is also the eternal question: "is this the actual recording of (fill in the date)".
Frankly, I don't care. I love this stuff and will purchase any Fripp releases and snag any others I find elsewhere.
There are probably more complete, better sounding versions floating around. But, I offer what I have with the all information known to me. any corrections or addtions are always appreciated.
-------------------------- For more info on this show: http://home.cogeco.ca/~frippertronics3/Fripp-1979-07-18-WebsterGroves.htm
-------------------------- THE SONGS 01 - 08.35 02 - 13.33 total time - 22.08
(this comes from the vinyl release "Coast to Coast")
-------------------------- THE SOUND: typical quality
-------------------------- THE LINEAGE: audience > vinyl boot > (to me on) CD-r > FLAC 8 via xAct
