This recording is a live show in Seattle, obviously professionaly recorded...but I do not know the source... a local radio broadcast maybe?!? A promotional CD? (it sounds that good) I can not find ANY info on the internet about it. It's basically a live version of his JIMI PROJECT cd and then some ( a Cd 3 years in the making...GET IT NOW!)... live versions of his reworked Jimi Hendrix songs... and they ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Both in their recompositions and his keen guitar playing. Aparently this guy has quite the experience, having written songs for Pat Benatar, Cher, Carmine Appice, Ace Freheley, Steve Perry, Gary Wright and TONS more...ha..he's been around the block to say the least!!!!!
If you like Jimi Hendrix..or modern blues guitarist like Chris Duarte... then you NEED to download this now.
If you haven't heard of of Phil Brown then prepare for one of those "I can't believe this new guy exists" moments.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you have not heard of french blues guitarist Phil Brown.
I hadn't either, when I received this live CD as a *bonus extra* in a snail-mail trade of Chris Duarte shows earlier this year...
