I was presented with two 1st gen video's of this show for use in a dvd production. However, since both angles were really obscured for the majority of the show, I scrapped the dvd plans. That left me with 3 audios that were already remastered. None of the three were particularly good sounding. "People Eat Other People's Meat" is a somewhat distorted recording with a lack of bass. The video's had plenty of bass, but were otherwise dull sounding. Combined it makes for a decent enough sounding show with good dynamics and a fuller sound. You can hear everything clearly, just doesn't have the punch and or impact of the better sounding shows from the tour. The show has a rough transition during "Welcome to the Machine" where one of the video's was cut. The first 30 seconds of "It's a Miracle" are missing, but since it's the intro, the music is basically unaffected. There is also a DTS 5.1 CD version of this show.
The performance by Roger was dead on that night, which was a surprise considering how warm it was that evening. I did take some pictures of the show, but unfortunately my digital camera didn't have enough optical zoom or resolution and the pictures were unusable. Still, I had a lot of fun at the show and it is nice to now have a recording of it that I can listen to and remember back.
