A good upgrade in my opinion to the previous version posted here on dime last month. Listen to the samples in the comments section: I put some from the master tape and some from the "old"
version in order to help you built your own idea.

I'd like to thanks LC for providing this excellent recording.

Once again "Humdrum" has to be removed because contains some official material (see here at "12 jan 1981": http://www.discog.info/petergabriel.html).

Thanks LUIS ;-)

MD5 included.

awesome gabriel posts thanks so much.

howeverm humdrum from the NYC diplomat hotel show has been out of print since around 1982.. it has never been reissued, so although it may have been released officially, it has not been available since 1982, so you should consider putting it back in. thanks again for all your killer posts. always appreciated :)

i just listened to the show, and to the copy of Humdrum that appeared on the Bristol Recorder.

although they are the same SHOW, they are NOT the same source recordings - the show you posted is AUD while the Bristol recorder version is SBD.

Therefore, you would not be posting officially released material if you reinstated humdrum into this post.

please reinstate it.. without it, the flow is interrupted, as the bristol recorder version fades in and out at different points in time than the audience version.

Thanks in advance :)

You are making the mistake that I, the author of this blog, am also the author of the above comment.

As I did not author the above comment, it is not within my power to reinstate the song. I do not have the song.

This is simply how things were in the original torrent. You would have to find the original source of this material on DIME to request a reinstatement.
