Way back here I shared the first disk of a 2 disk set. It seems that I never got around to sharing the second disk. Very, very insensitive of me! Info

PF - V - Auntie's Psychedelic Soirees

1 2

This one should probably be more for the newer or more casual fan. There isn't anything here that the more seasoned fan would be lacking. I see nothing in the PF database about this one. However, for members of Y, there is some information here and here.

PF - V - Azimuth Coordinator

1 2 3

This is a 6CD set. It was released a number of different times. There was different packaging each time. Bridges were burned, money was lost. But, the idea was great!

PF - Complete Earls Court

Back in 1994, the Floyd played 15 dates between 10-12 and 10-29. The recordings were gathered up by the nice guy over at #ROIO Records & briefly circulated as a set. The relative rarity of these recordings today can be attributed to any number of different factors. I approached #ROIO Records & it seems that even they have not retained a copy of the complete set.

Working with a series of different collectors, I was able to put all of the pieces together. I hope that you nice folks take advantage of this opportunity, which I believe to be the first place that the whole set has been available in quite a few years.

This is the cover art.

Duke of Wellington

Here's another example (sent in by a reader) of the humble cone finding a home in popular culture... "Capping the statue with a traffic cone has become a traditional practise in Glasgow. Claimed to represent the humor of the local population and believed to date back to the first half of the 1980s if not before. The Duke of Wellington statue has had a cone on his head for as long as I can remember. When the cone is removed someone else will just add a cone."
