I got this cd direct from the taper who had transform the Cass Master to CD.
I was at this concert and it's such a thrill to hear it again. Literally a dream come true. I searched for it for 25 years and am so happy to have it. I was in my teens and went with my dad. I'm looking forward to sharing this with him. Thank you so much.
Apparently there's a second recording of this show as well, a little more complete. If you have it, I'd love to hear it.
Our seats were in the upper level of the Kingdome, looking straight on at the stage. We could barely make out Gilmour and company, but out views of the films and lightshow could not have been better.
They never did come back to Seattle later in the tour, or in 1994 (They got as close as Vancouver when supporting The Division Bell) so this was the only time I ever got to see the band.
I got this on cassette a month after the show from a trade contact. I believe he got it directly from the taper. Don't know about the equipment used, but I consider recording to be excellent sound quality.I transfered it to cd-r some years back. On my copy Wish You were here has a bit missing in mid song.
