According to the Echoes book, "The New York shows were sponsored by WNEW radio who announced the shows in Apri at an event held on Sheep Meadow, Central Park, featuring the inflatable pig which had been recovered and repaired from its earlier escapade over Battersea Power Station in London the previous year."

That must have been incredible to see! WNEW was (is? I don't live on the east coast anymore) a big supporter of the band.
