Notes : This Thursday was special: My parents listen to Pink Floyd since they're teens, but had never had the advisability of going to see them in concert. Then us (my brother and me) invited them for what was and will remain an exceptional and fantastic concert. Usually reggae to type, I am a large fan of Floyd also and when I learned that Roger made a date on Paris (after that of Magny Cours last year) it was necessary that I would be :)
The POPB is a large venue with bad accoustic and a capacity of 18.000 people. The places were all reserved. A giant concert with pyrotechnical effects, the pig (during sheep), and a comic strip recalling its voyage to Lebanon. I loved that part : "Oh George! Oh George! That Texas education must have fucked you up when you were very small" ;D On the Pig, there was some nice stuffs too, like religions divide us, Bush is an asshole on the pig's butt :)...
An unforgettable concert. I still have some hot memories from that show. Only one thing with saying: See this concert if it passes close to on your premise
The sound is decent, quite good for a huge venue like the POPB. During "another brick in the wall" all the people had the smart idea (!!) to stand up, so the sound might be a little bit felted. To my opinion, the disc one has a better sound.
