Experience Hendrix at Casino Ballroom, Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, USA, October 18, 2007, Audience Recording.
This was recorded with Sony TCS-580V cassette recorder with built-in stereo mics, from section 3, row N. Maxell XLII's went from Onkyo TA-RW313 into Audigy Soundblaster SE. Cd-rs made with Magix Music On CD And DVD program. Wav created with Roxio Easy Media 8, flac with Flac Frontend.
The sound quality gets a B+. The music is pretty nice and clear, though some of the spoken moments are a little tough to decipher. This show was amazing. Here's the line-up details: Tracks 02 and 03 - Eric Gales, Tommy Shannon, and Chris Layton. Tracks 04 and 05 - Mato Nanji, Tommy Shannon, and Chris Layton. Tracks 06 and 07 - Doyle Bramhall II, Tommy Shannon, and Chris Layton. Tracks 08 and 09 - Billy Cox, Andy Aledort, and Chris Layton. Track 10 - Billy Cox, Andy Aledort, Chris Layton, Eric Gales, and Mitch Mitchell. Track 11 - Billy Cox, Andy Aledort, Chris Layton, Kenny Olson, and Corey Glover. Track 12 - Billy Cox, Chris Layton, Mitch Mitchell, and Mick Taylor. Tracks 13 - 15 - Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Noah Hunt, Tommy Shannon, and Chris Layton. Track 16 - Buddy Guy and band. Track 17 - Buddy Guy and band, and Hubert Sumlin. Track 18 - Buddy Guy and band, Hubert Sumlin, and Mitch Mitchell. Tracks 19 and 20 - Buddy Guy and band, Hubert Sumlin, Mick Taylor, Mitch Mitchell, and Robert Randolph. Track 21 - Robert Randolph, Tommy Shannon, and Chris Layton. Track 22 - Robert Randolph, Tommy Shannon, Chris Layton, Corey Glover, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Track 23 - Robert Randolph, Tommy Shannon, Chris Layton, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Noah Hunt.
There are tape flip interruptions during tracks 12 and 14, but there's probably about 4 seconds missing from those tracks, so they aren't too awful. Other tape flips occur at the end of tracks 06 and 21. I faded out at the end of track 15, and fade in on track 16.
I hope y'all enjoy this as much as I did. I think I got all the line-up info right, but I think Andy Aledort may have been present on a few tracks I didn't give him credit for. If the Buddy Guy titles are incorrect, I'd appreciate the corrections.
Enjoy responsibly - don't sell, and give credit when trading/uploading elsewhere. Cheers!
