Title: Live at The Forum, Inglewood, California, USA
Date: June 23, 1976
Label: Midas Touch
Source: Soundboard

Lineage: Soundboard > Reel to Reel > Theft > Storage/Trading > Silver CD > EAC > FLAC 8 > You!!

As I understand:

This is one of Paul's recordings to be used for a live album, but when it went missing (stolen) another show had to be used. Seattle Kingdome on June 10, 1976. I am sure many of the shows towards the end of the tour were recorded for the purpose of a live album as the band was in its best form and was very comfortable with the material and VERY relaxed with performing it. This show was the last of three nights starting on the 21st of June 1976

**Moderators, this is not an uncompressed, unmixed soundboard version of an official release, this is a stolen master that was likely intended to be final, but once out on the bootleg market, Paul scrapped this date. It has a lot of mistakes anyhow. And.... this is only one half of the show, this thief was swift enough only to get the first reel. We will likely never hear the second!!

The official Rockshow was recorded at the Seattle Kingdome in the vicinity of June 10, 1976.

This reel is real ear candy. Interesting fidelity. Great.

I already have it since years-
just wanted to add a small comment :

first, thank you so much for sharing this gem with those who don't know this recording,
then a small comment about the show :
killer sound quality and a killer, especially in comparison to the triple LP Wings Over America : killer bass lines, killer lead guitar solos (just compare the outstanding performance of the Venus & Mars/Rock Show from this recording and the official version)
yes, there's a lot of ad-libs guitar solos here and there... (Spirits Of Ancient Egypt and Medicine Jar have heavy guitar- some nice guitar licks that don't have to blush next to Jimi Page solos from the same era)
McCartney is more relaxed...
Linda too...
it shows (well, for your ears it will be not exactly something to see but to hear...) how Linda was singing out-of-tune during the harmonies.
Whilst it's not as horrible as Yoko Ono (respect for Linda & Yoko, this comment is just about their singing). It shows and reveal how much their have been probably a lot of studio overdubs before releasing the official live Wings Over America.
But it's really good, it adds to the rock and fresh quality of this premium performance.
Too bad that there's no second set available (I mean, the show is incomplete)
well, I'd like to add that there's a very nice piano intro for the Long & Winding Road
