Must be getting old. I can detect the provenance of most of these: singles, Picnic, Zabriskie Point and Pompei (I guess IO is either from San Franscisco or TLMLiL) but for the life of me I can't recall a rare Astronomy Domine.
A quick comparison reveals that this Astronomy Domine is the same as the one on Piper, except that the channels are reversed. (right is left and left is right)
I guess they included it here to broaden the song selection, or because they had the room for it, or something along those lines.
You unpack the .flac file, just as usual. Then, you play using your favorite media player (with the right codecs) or open using your favorite audio editing software or whatever else might suit you.
I think the point was when the vinyl came out the Nice Pair reissue was more common than Piper, though that was still in print ... its just A Nice Pair was much cheaper than buying the 1st two albums individually, I know I being a poor teenager chose the cheaper option... and it was years before I realise A Nice Pair for some zany reason substituted the Ummagumma Astronomy in place of the original studio version... thus it too was a quasi-rarity this vinyl boot, a good companion to Relics, meant a collector didnt have to buy Zabriskie Point, Masters of Rock, or the long out of print Point Me At the Sky single to get all the songs

How do you play a 24/96 flac?
