* Missed the first 30 seconds or so of Castellorizon and there is a really weird glitch every second or so during Castel and OAI. I have no idea where this came from. It really isn’t listenable (sounds like shit) but I have included it for completists. 01a ends when the glitches stop and 01b starts when the sound is good, so t01a with the glitches can be skipped when burning to cd-r.
** While trying to check my gear to make sure it was working I accidentally hit the pause button (for some reason the hold switch wasn't on). I only missed a few seconds of audio.
*** The hiss during the start is from the smoke machine on stage not my equipment.
Notes: This was my first time seeing a show at the Rosemont Theater. And the second time seeing David Gilmour (first being with Pink Floyd during the 1994 Tour). It was a fantastic concert from the start!!! The acoustics were great and so was the sound. And I must admit I had a few tears in my eyes during Shine On, Time, Echoes and WYWH. Especially during Echoes since I thought I'd never have a chance to see it performed live. We showed up about 10 minutes before the start of the show and I didn’t have the time to get setup the way I wanted to (hidden in the restroom stall), so I had to get setup in my seat. This is what caused me to miss the beginning of Castellorizon because I had to be very cautious, as there was security guards all over including 2 guards standing 20 feet from me and ushers seating people all around me. This also caused me to use the auto recording level instead of manual (so I didn’t have to check my recording as often). And I'm already not a fan of the auto levels (you'll hear why). During the show I saw 4-5 people with digital video recorders.. one guy a few rows in front of me got a few songs complete (I think). I'm hoping to see them soon. :-)
