This is my personal favorite out of the 7 times I have seen Alice. This is a headlining show about 80 miles up the coast from LA while he was touring with the Scorpions. Not only is it my favorite show, it's the best recording, even better than the HOB show previously posted.

I was surprised when I got there to see some members from one of my favorite bands NY Loose milling around outside the venue. I asked if they were there to see the show and they said they were opening. That alone made it worth the hassle and effort involved but it ended up being a great show with a few songs not in the setlist when he opened for the Scorpions.

A friend who was going to drive me sustained an injury so he had to drop out. I ended up having to wander the streets all night until the trains started running again in the morning so I skipped work so I could get enough rest to hit a different show the next night.; August 10, 2011 at 3:37 PM
