Roger Waters "Innerview" '84 Worldwide Debut of Jim Ladd's TV show. Running Time is 45min, Approx. 10 minutes of the entire broadcast was cut, it consisted entirely of short excerpts from "Pink Floyd-The Wall" theatrical film, so you're not missing anything... Unknown Gen VHS>MOV capture>Toast 7>NTSC DVD
I kept this simple since it is entirely an interview, the source is very noisey, (Soundsoap couldn't be even help it without it ruining what signal was actually there) but the pic is surprisingly decent, ...this is a very rare piece of video, I obtained this in a trade with a high profile Floyd collector, who has compiled/authored 2 "database/encyclopedic" style books about Pink Floyd...without dropping names. This is the first extended on camera interview that Waters ever consented to, and it takes place during the release of his first proper solo album "The Pros & Cons Of Hitchhiking". Pink Floyd were still a band at this point, at least a 3 piece band officially. He gets into some detail about the themes of P&C, the politics of the day, and why he felt it necessary to do a project outside of Pink Floyd. Waters always seems very improvisational in his interviews, he really seems to answer questions as they are posed, and with no agenda of his own, so...to commemorate the release of his long awaited opera, let's time trip a bit and listen to the always interesting man in his own words. Enjoy !!
