I'll introduce Hakone which is the legendary place to Pink Floyd's fans in Japan.

Hakone is to the southwest of Tokyo and it takes 2 hours from Tokyo by car. Many people visit there and enjoy playing golf and tennis, and sightseeing .

The open-air concert entitled "'71 Hakone Aphrodite" was held at the open space called "Seikei Gakuen Jofudai " by Lake Ashi on Aug.6 & 7, 1971. It is said that 30,000 people gatherd there.

Pink Floyd appeared in the evening (6:00 pm) on Aug.6, 1971 and played "Atom Heart Mother", "Green is the colour", "Careful With That Axe, Eugene", "Echoes", "Cymbaline" and "A saucerful Of Secrets".

If you would go to Hakone, you should drop in "Seikei Gakuen Jofudai" called "Seikei Gakuen Hakone-Ryo" (a kind of a dormitory) at present.

There is nothing to recall the appearance of those days to our mind, but I believe you can hear the echoes of those days........

It's hard to tell exactly what songs that come from which date, but fingals tape guide has this info:

August 6: Green is the Colour, CWTAE, Echoes, Cymbaline
August 7: Atom Heart Mother, Green is the Colour, CWTAE, Saucerful of Secrets
