Pink Floyd Open Air Festivel West Germany May 21st, 1972
"Calling Number 228"
Lineage: LP> Sony PS-LX250H> Sony STR-DE895 >Harman/Kardon CDR26 > EAC> SHN Label: Man of Leisure Music (MoLM)
Disc One:
1. Atom Heart Mother 2. Tuning 3. Set the Controls For the Heart Of The Sun 4. One of These Days 5. Careful with that Axe, Eugene
Disc Two:
1. Echoes 2. A Saucerful of Secrets (encore)
This is one of the must-have dates from the 1972 tour. The band puts in great performances of their older, post-Syd and pre-DSotM classics. In fact, I really don't recall any other 1972 dates when Eclipse was not performed. It seems the band played a single set, with Saucerful of Secrets as the sole encore.
Sadly, there is a poorly edited cut towards the end of CWtAE. This is either due to a tape flip or was done to fit the music on the album side.
