Do you know what the difference is between Meddled and Meddler? Is one stereo and the other mono, or is it something else?

Also is the version on HRV 007 different to this one?

Thanks

VC - This is an excellent, excellent question.

Meddler came first. It was actually sold through Brain Damage magazine many, many years ago. It was made during those heady days before people could easily burn their own CDs. Sadly, due to a studio error, the glass master for the CD was created in mono rather than in stereo. A few months later, after much scrambling about, the first copies of Meddled appeared as CDRs. Meddled was originally just a properly mastered (stereo) version of Meddler. This was the first CDR that I ever owned.

If you have the latest Revisions of Meddled and Mooed Music then 007 Archives 1970-1971 is just a duplicate. You could choose to have two singles or one double or whatever else suits you. I think 007 was created "just because". I've never asked, honestly.

But - don't get too comfortable! Little birdies have informed me that work has started again on these sessions... Look for yet another Revision in the next few months.

Hey Dr. F, what an insanely great blog you've got here!

I have a question about the Harvested releases relating to revisions.

Do you know if any of the releases are final... as in there won't be any further revisions?

Now, I'm all for improvements, and I know hardcore collectors love to have everything (which I'm happily turning into), but the reason I ask is if one wanted to start burning a show(s) on high-grade media, and printing out the inserts in the best quality, are there any that can be committed to without having to repeat the process if another revision was released?

It's really small change considering the shows are treated with such hard work and generosity, but curiosity struck me reading your comments above.

Thoughts?

Thanks for your great efforts here.
