Those were the days... Too bad that Gilmour didn't play at the time as a lead guitar guest with Gold (fantastic French prog rock); Their song "Capitain Abandonné" (which is a kind of rival to Procol Harum's "Salty Dog" could have been more than a hit (it was already a hit in France) with Gilmour on guitar...That would have added the superb to the success....

Back to Kate, great rendering as always...
What exact guitar-model use Gilmour at this show (I think that I've seen him in another show (was it Robertson It's You?) with a guitar with the "cut" neck..;

could you post one day the video of Purple Rain with Tom Jones ... This was an epic solo by our David...

The guitar he's playing is a Steinberger. Very popular in the 80s and they are still around as part of Gibson.
