All 25 original Wall shows from 1980 and 1981. Each show is a 2 CD set. Each set comes complete with unique art files. There was much talk at the time of the release of this set about whether or not they were genuine. Trading of these guys was forbidden by several trading groups as a result. I can not add anything to that discussion. I am just making the files available. Because of all of the fuss - true or not - the files are fairly hard to come by. If you wish to give them a listen, be my guest. You can grab any show or shows independent of the others. If you have half of them already, there's no need to duplicate your efforts.

WHOUAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
AMAZING POST
AMAZING WORLD OF PINK FLOYD
I HAVE NOT THE WORDS TO EXPLAIN TO YOU ALL THE JOY YOU GIVE TO A REAL
PF FAN
This is just awesome! I just got the 'Echoes' book for my B-Day, and these shows are a great companion to listen while reading...it's soooo good to be a Floydian! Many, many thanks Dr. Forrester!
BTW, do you have any ideas why HRV abandoned these shows in their audio series? Their DVD is the greatest item of the Wall shows to be surfaced, but at least the 17.06.1981 concert would deserve an HRV-treatment...
Many thanks Dr. Forrester! You are great!
HRV didn't do a release from the Wall tour because there was an official release from that tour. (Similarly for Momentary Lapse)
Very grateful - I'm getting them all
Where could I read more on the debate on the authenticity/genuineness/etc of these? I haven't found anything through the normal search engines.
Thanks!
Considering that these files were first released back in 2001 - some seven years ago - an eternity online - I am not sure that the original information could be located these days. However, it's possible that the folks over at Yeeshkul or FloydArtifacts would be willing to have a go.
I wouldn't have been as concerned about the authenticity (did they think the recordings were faked?) as I am about how badly remasterd they are.
The noise reduction used on most of them ruins the recordings. That metallic squeal (the unmistakable signature of badly implemented digital noise reduction) makes the recordings unlistenable. The others have had the top end EQ'd out, making them sound rather dull.
If you have "Home Piggy Home (Digital Reproductions) (1980-02-28)," "Bars In The Window (FA005) (1980-06-06)," and "Another Wall In Dortmund (PRRP 043) (1981-02-19)" then you have the best Wall audience recordings in circulation.
"Bars In The Window" is actually 1980-08-06. A typo dontchaknow.
Thanks for the info - what a shame.
My obsession/sickness compels me to keep the files and listen to/save them though.
