Some Trees

This shot was taken from the top of a huge crane at my place of employment. I took quite a few other shots like this one.. So, I am sure that I'll have to share them here & there through the winter - just to remind everyone how pretty the Fall can be. B-)

Hi Doc

Nice view of the woods. It's good for your well-being when you can work out in the green.

If the very reason for Nature's existense is the education of the soul, then I can hardly wait until summer vacation is over. Of course, a place this beautiful couldn't possibly be within my five mile radius. The picture is magical...when it is seen (as opposed to 'looked at'), the branches start to sway gently -- calming the breeze in a kaleidoscopic Waltz made of a million vortices of color all dancing randomly as one.
Even so, I am primarily a gravity savant and, thus, would not disagree...how pretty the 'fall' can be.
PS- I don't know how long I stared at it, but when I was in the picture I saw some orange cones underneath one of the trees...(deciduous disorientation, I guess).
So, please tell me that the crew isn't breaking ground on a new Walmart on this site. Otherwise, beautiful work...more, please.

No, sir, no new construction planned anytime soon. In fact, quite the reverse is happening - a local facility is fading slowly into the overgrowth.

There will be many, many more trees coming in the near future.
