It's wonderful to see things like this by Rabid Hedgehog. It all approaches Myth. I have 'Live at Portland Arms' on cassette, but pretty sure it's just the album on a cassette. I've spoken with Robyn (and Andy at length), but none of it was recorded....

The - next to - last two on the last casette are not from Live at Portland Arms, Cambridge, 1978, so this may be a different date there, if the venue is correct. Robyn would have picked up "Postman's Knock" (trad) from the Albion Band's album 'Son of Morris On'('76). The very last two may not be identifiable without a date; haven't dl'd yet but may be able to identify the "instr". "Visions of Johanna" "known" performances begin at WTJU (Charlottesville, Virginia US), 5/3/1992, which can't be right as we (all seven of us) know that Robyn was literally raisd on Dylan.

Oh my gosh!

Hope you had a good tour!

I have gotten Mega to work, at last! If there's any way to reupload these historic early 1978-1981 shows, I just can't believe it. I can't believe someone has the Portland Arms "Wey Wey Hep A Hole"!, and the 1980 Maxwells show!!!

Either way, I'll be emailing you soon, especially when I go into my storage and fish out some of the Robyn shows (I know just where they are!). One of the Irving Plaza '85 shows, the Beacon '88, Maxwells 89, etc.

Freaking great blog! I still can't get over it!
