Both Sources : TLH > Guitar Tracks Pro 3.0 > SB X-FI Platinum > Adobe Audition 1.5 > MLP encoding > DVA - A authoring
A few instances of loud audience noise and mic bumps were eliminated. Additional tape effects were taken from the Jerry Moore recording of the 17th and the Ivor Wynne recording of the 28th.
There are not enough ways to say Thank You to Steve Hopkins and Dan Lampinski for taking the time and care, bringing in such good equipment to this show and then sharing thier recordings. Pink Floyd fans shall be forever in thier debt. Thank You both !!
This recording is dedicated to my friend Brandon. Maybe you know him, he's the fellow who believes freedom isn't free. He has already served in the U.S. Army in combat and was recently called up from the active reserves. Brandon is 25, a newlywed and the parent of an unborn baby girl. I admire the dedication and sacrifice he and his family make to keep us safe, my wish is that he returns to us safely. Thank You Brandon !
Special thanks go to my German friends at Yeeshkul!, who graciously uploaded one of the sources on short notice and who willingly listen to my test mixes and other multi source audio experiments. Thank You !! Thank you to Bert13 & Rbbert at Yeeshkul! for the speed correction info.
Although far from perfect, with over 100 hours of work it was nessesary to wrap this one up. This was an excercise in conservatism, there was a need to continually adjust recording levels and EQ in order to avoid clipping, distortion and other unwanted artifacts. Still, a carefull listen will surely reveal a few flaws, after all, there were nearly 2000 individual edits of the sources, countless pitch changes and all the other issues one finds in 35 year old audience recordings.
1. Raving & Drooling 2. Gotta Be Crazy 3. Shine On You Crazy Diamond - Have A Cigar - Shine On You Crazy Diamond 4. Dark Side Of The Moon 5. Echoes
