Ian Hunter Semi-acoustic set King Tut's Glasgow UK 13th May 2007
Ian Hunter: songwriting, vocals, acoustic guitar, electric piano. With: James Mastro : guitars, mandolin, b/vs Steve Holley: drums, b/vs + lady violinist on 2/3 songs
Ian Hunter chose King Tuts for the Scottish date on his UK mini-tour to promote his new album "Shrunken Heads", just released in the UK and the US. He goes on to mainland Europe for a few dates through until the end of May. The set was a mixture of new songs from the album, and old favourites from both his solo career and his time with Mott The Hoople. The audience, many of them long-term fans, sang along with many of the songs. Ian Hunter will be back touring the US in June, and the UK in October.
