Johnny Winter at Madison Square Garden, New York City - June 16, 1973
Set List (about 79 minutes):
1. rock me baby 2. can't you feel it 3. rock and roll, hoochie koo 4. black cat bone [first try, cut short in 2 minutes and half. Johnny, very pissed off, says something as "next time somebody throws something at me that is the end of the show... we come up here to have a good time and when I get hit in the head, forget it".] 5. black cat bone [now complete version] 6. rock & roll 7. jumpin' jack flash 8. johnny b. goode [first encore; another extended version - 8 minutes plus] 9. crossroads [second encore]
source: fair audience recording, worsened by a well-aged audio tape. Listening the first three songs is an awful experience 'cause a cyclical tonality fluctuation about each 10 seconds. From the fourth song on, this problem is almost gone and the recording becomes much better. At least this recording capture the full concert without any cut, complete to the last detail. It's indeed a hot performance with a superb rendition of "Rock & Roll", with and extended length (almost 15 minutes)
