A pretty good audience recording, considering its age. I'm not confident enough
to try any re-mastering (yet), so I'm presenting the music exactly as it came to me.
Sound quality is generally very listenable, a bit lacking in top end at times, but
I've certainly heard worse... I'd rate it as a "B", although I appreciate these
things are very much down to personal taste. There's a couple of mp3 samples to
help you make up your own mind.

According to Jack Skelly's EXCELLENT Gentle Giant Tour History site (a must for GG fans -
http://members.aol.com/JAskelly/GGtourhistory.html) "a local comedy/folk act named Plume
and Cassonade opened this show which Phil (Shulman) says was also a very successful gig.
An existing tape of the concert includes Peel the Paint, again done as a separate song,
as was done in May (1972), but in a slightly modified version from what was done then.
The crowd erupted with cheers and applause during the Nothing at All percussion break.
During this break, the band used their sticks, in sequence, on the drums, the drum stands,
the microphone stands, the microphone cables and the floor, before reversing the order,
finally returning to the drums. A very brief silent 8mm film clip of the show is also known
to exist."

I've been on DIME for about six or seven months now, and this show doesn't seem to
have been seeded here before - if it's a reseed, then I apologise for not making that
clear in the description, but I had no way of telling.

Enjoy the show,

Alan.
