It's a few generations removed, not too many, several edits between songs were spliced and patched together to smooth out the flow of this recording but I didn't notice any cut songs in here so apparently the editing in the source recording paid off. I believe this is the full show, and completes my goal to share at least one Genesis show from all the years I was seeing them live. I didn't see this tour, too bummed at the time of no Hackett or Gabriel, but it was a nice tour and some good songs I never saw live in this show (Fountain, battle of big, say it's all right) The recording isn't hissy and the crowd noise isn't too bad either, the biggest problem with this is not very close up recording. I was told it was done with a Nakamichi, but you'd have a hard time hearing that. You probably can tell it was sourced with a good deck of some kind, just not a very good seat. You can still hear what's going on, but this is a you're sorta there production. NOT a you- are- there. I rarely listened to this until putting it to disc this Dec. 2007, and this is hardly a fabulous improvement, but it is a little better than before and good enough to be above the "for completists only" level, I'd rate it between a good to very good quality. If it was from a good seat this would be a B+, maybe close to an A, but it's still good enough so some will enjoy hearing this. This is probably the worst sounding of my Genesis uploads, so if you hear this and find it enjoyable, the others will be even better quality. It's also my only live from hockey arena Genesis upload, except for Worcester 87 which has alot to do with why it's not as good sound as the others (earliest is 76, latest is 87, if not up yet, they're coming soon.)

Sorry, but the correct date for this gig was July 30th, 1978 ...
