"Omnipotent"
Pinkroioshn CDR-011 (PRS-CDR-011)

Master Cassettes > CDR Standalone > CDRx1 > EAC >
.wav > Soundforge 8.0 (rejoin tracks, patches, level boost, set
fades) > CDWave 1.75 (tracking) > Flac Frontend (level 7,
align sector boundaries) > flac

This recording is a new master source, and a significant upgrade over the only other
circulating roio from this date, "Stay With Me Omni" (DR-41185), which claims to be
a first gen of the same recording, but is clearly not. The difference between the two
is striking. The recording has several dropouts on the master of various sizes and
caused by various factors (security, taper movement, etc), but all have been neatly
patched in Soundforge and are noticeable but fairly painless. The only defect which
decreases listening enjoyment is a cassette flip during Gunner's Dream which cuts
about 20 seconds of music. Overall, this recording is quite excellent with a full and
rich bass presence, a clear signal, and virtually no cassette hiss.
