Unhatched Crablings - Vol 3 - The Statues In My Bathroom

This is a compilation I made in 1996 for the "fegmaniax" email list. It was distributed by "tape tree" shortly thereafter (a means of disseminating audio recordings through the mail before fast internet was ubiquitous.) My goal was to collect the most interesting rare and cover songs Robyn had been doing in his many live performances. This volume has an especially strong Pink Floyd association.

Many thanks to John B."Lobsterman" Jones and his Uncarved Pumpkins compilation, for inspiration; and to Dr. Forrester for the great "Just Add Cones" blog. Many thanks to all the other "fegs" who provided so much help along the way, among them Eddie Tews, John Partridge, Mark Gloster and woj.

    Bayard Catron, March 1 2014

Master DAT -> Tascam DA-20 deck -> line in ->
CD Wave -> sampled at 44/16 -> .flac -> WinRAR -> .rar file -> you

When transferring tapes, I always play every inch of tape on both sides.
Nothing but silence at the end is ever edited or altered.

If you want to "remaster" or provide a more detailed set list, please help yourself.

02 - The Ghost In You (Psychedelic Furs)

    06 - I Found A Reason (The Velvet Underground)
    07 - Wolfpack (Syd Barrett)

This volume has a Beatles vibe going on, and a Doors thing at the end - I put The Lizard after The End because it seems to be directed at Jim Morrison.
