Back in 1999 we heard that Roger Waters was going on tour to support
the Amused To Death record, so we hurriedly checked out the tour
schedule to see where the closest city was, and it turned out that
it was Columbus Ohio. It became apparent that they were booking
smallish 3000-5000 seat venues, theaters, etc. Well, we scored
tickets to the Columbus Auditorium show, not so good seats, about
24th row, way off to one side. Well, after the two opening cities,
Milwaukee and Chicago, they realized that the demand was much
greater than they had anticipated, so they moved all the shows into
larger venues...this was AFTER they had sold tickets. Well, in
Columbus Ohio they moved the gig into the Schottenstein Arena, a
round basketball arena, and all of a sudden our 24th row side seats
turned into 12th row floor seats, stage right, right in front of and
under the PA stacks. The was the PA was assembled, kind of in a
curve, the sound was coming at us from in front and from above. It
was clean and clear sound. They also had effects speakers hanging
around the arena, for the Dogs barking and howling and
such. And for icing on the cake, just a few days later they announced a show at Deer
Creek, our home venue. The show was inserted into the tour for just
a few days after this Columbus show, so we had just a few days off
before the Deer Creek show. Even better, when the Deer Creek
tickets went on sale locally, there was NOBODY in line to buy tix,
so we got to pretty much cherry pick our seats for that one....sweet
    spot!
Anyway, enjoy this one...thanks to Dazed64 for all the help.
