  2. I appreciate that you posted my special request. I had wanted this because the sound was reported to be very nice and because it is derived from a single source (not compiled from multiple tapes/vinyl).

Now, if only I could find someone that knows how to correct the speed. Anyone?

  3. There are many versions of this show, but MOB of Harvested fame is of the opinion that this is the best version. Commenting on Harvested's 'Mooed Music Rev. A', MOB said:

At the time it ['Mooed'] was released (weeded), the "mono masters" were not available to the masses, so this HRV release was a big event when it came out. Today, one would prefer the "BBC Mono Master" which is unprocessed (Mooed Music Rev.A has some NR artefacts during the quiet parts).Interestingly, the speed is correct here, while it's too fast on "BBC Mono Master" and "BBC Radio One Master Reels"... -MOB

MOB has also commented that the "BBC Radio One Master Reels" was EQ'd and has some problems not present on the version posted here, "BBC Mono Masters."

Thanks Dr F for making this available. It's the first time I listened to this version. Superb sound.

  4. Just when I thought I had heard the best version, another one became available. Here is a link:

This claims to be the best version available. I have not listened to both to compare, but it looks like the track "Fat Old Sun" is missing.
