I received these recordings on data CDs in a trade in 1999. According to Chip Madinger and Mark Easter, there are 85 minutes of mono rehearsal audio from February 11, 1993. On the Yellow Cat disc "Saturday Night Live Rehearsals 1993" (YC 006), they've edited that down to 69:25. This source has 77:43. The other seven minutes are probably still on the videotape. In addition, this disc purports to contain the three tracks from the SNL dress rehearsal of February 13, which Madinger/Easter say are unbootlegged. The last five tracks are stereo. The book says there were three songs performed at dress rehearsal, "Get Out Of My Way," "Biker Like An Icon" and "Hey Jude." I don't have VHS of the show to compare, nor "Big Mac's Live Tracks" (Orange 1), which has the live performances from the airdate, so I can't say for certain which these are. There *is* an extra performance of "Hey Jude." So at least *some* of this is from the dress rehearsal.
The only alterations I made to these recordings were to match the levels, and split the tracks on sector boundaries.
