A fine show from the Trick of the Tail (and Seconds Out) tour with Bruford. This was my 1st
time seeing Genesis in concert and I was not disappointed (even though I wished Peter was
still in it). This may be Phil Collins' best frontman performance I've seen or heard. He sounded
very good in this show. (also in 1983 on 1stsolo tourThe recording is pretty good too, now remastered on Barney (my newer
computer), this is the 1st time I've ever seeded this. If it's got Bruford in it , it BETTER
sound good. That's a rule in my house. I have a few 76 Genesis shows but for both quality of
recording and performance, this seemed an easy choice. I think Mr. Nakaman has a few 76 shows,
but I don't know if he has any Nakaman 76 Genesis and I have no idea where he is or if he's even
still alive, so no matter there anyway. This is not from him, but from another Rhode islander.
(not the taper) The bus arrived too late for me to see Gabriel Genesis, but this was the "genesis"
of my experiencing the band chosen England's best live band in 73 and 74 (with Peter, of course).
I have no idea who recorded this source tape but it is a good recording, and perhaps my biggest
    reason for posting this:
It has Bill Bruford in it. Do I need any other reason to post this?
    Actually there is one other.
Someone mentioned a less than nice quality recording of this show circulating and not worth posting.
I don't recall having seen this show on dime, if I had I probably would have checked it to compare to mine.
This may not be a Nakaman production (or a Stud Muffin, who is almost as good as nakaman)
but it is a pretty decent sounding recording and not too many generations.
I would guess either 2nd or 3rd, it sounds pretty clear, and it's a nice show for all of them.
the white mountain is incomplete (tape ran out in it, unfortunately, one of my faves on this tour)
and there is the almost obligatory flip cut in the suppers ready (this was before it got reduced to
    a reader's digest version)
but the rest is here and it is consistent sound throughout.
This is necessary with Bruford shows.
    (of any kind).
