About 2 weeks ago I was contacted by gbring, a long-time member of
our community here. He asked me if I could upload a concert for him.
I replied, "Of course, as long as it sounds good". Well, I listened
to the entire show on headphones and it sounds REALLY good, so here
it is. He got it in a trade about 15 years ago, doesn't know its
lineage and isn't sure that it's complete. I don't know that either
but it sounds so good that it should be offered up even if it is
incomplete. I wasn't at this show so I'll give you a brief rundown
of the recording, good points and bad.

    First, the good points:

    1) There is no distortion present. There are no speed problems
or any other serious faults to prevent you from enjoying this
    show.

    2) This is a very clear recording. The vocals & instruments
come through very clearly and distinctly. I think that the
taper was VERY close to the stage when making this recording.

    3) Audience talking is virtually non-existent.

Second, the bad (extremely minor) points:

    1) As mentioned above, the show MAY be incomplete. If you were at
this or any ELPowell shows & know about how long they ran, please
    chime in.

    2) There is a small amount of hiss on CD 2. Nothing bad at all.

    3) I heard faint crackling or a static-type noise intermittently
on both CDs. There's NOT a lot of it but if you listen to this on
headphones, you WILL hear it. It is present on the CDs that I was
sent. For these reasons, I rated the show ex to ex-.

So there you have it. I changed NOTHING about this show. The only
thing that I did was rip the CDs to HD, name the tracks and run them
through FlacFrontend. gbring did a good job tracking this, BTW.
    This show fits on 2 74 min. CDs. CD 1 = Tracks 1 - 5.
    CD 2 = Tracks 6 - 16. That's about all that I can think of to say,
    so let's wrap this up.

Finally, please don't buy, sell or convert this show to mp3 or
any other lossy format. Please seed this as long as you can.
Please trade this freely as it probably is fairly uncirculated.
This show will be a welcome addition to any EL&Powell fan's
collection. I think that ALL of you will really love this show.
I will post a sample to help some of you decide whether or not to
download this but trust me, it is basically unnecessary. So, as
Mr. Natural is so fond of saying, have fun, don't freak out
    and enjoy the concert !
