    Comments:
I didn't see this show, wish I had. This was the 1st show in Boston for the BBB, on tour for
"Feels Good to Me", their 1st album with this lineup. Bruford has always been very warmly welcomed
in Boston no matter who his company might be. No exception here. Unfortunately the taper fell
asleep at the recorder and his tape runs out about a minute or so into Beezelbub, the only cut
on my 3 BBB torrents (except 1st few seconds). Sounds like there's more than just a few seconds
missing from it, maybe as much as 3 minutes. The rest is all there and sounds good and not
"generated" or noisy (just a very little bit and not all the way through). It's not a bad little
tape deck at all. It even sounds kinda stereo, but I'm pretty sure this was mastered on a Sony
mono deck and it sounds very comparable for fidelity (especially since this is the highest
generation of the 3) to the other 2 which were both done on stereo recorders. I like this tour alot,
wasn't as familiar then with BBB as other Bruford (Yes and Crimson) otherwise I would have been
there recording. This one sounds good enough for me to enjoy, hope you do too. These 79 Boston
sets were both shorter than some of this tour, because there were 2 shows and an opening band
(the Jetts, they weren't recorded by my sources for either one) and it was July, the hottest
time of the year in Boston. Good time for a Bruford concert of any kind, apparently. (there is no
bad time for one if you ask me). Very nice music in both these shows and Boston 1980 early show.
    Do not sell this recording.
(Bruford has bills to pay too)
