Here we have a vintage Alice show from when they were the kings of the rock world. A number of shows from the '73 tour appear to have been soundboard recorded with Dallas and Houston being the most commonly known appearing in edited form on the Billion Dollar Babies Deluxe Edition.

Recorded one month later, the Minneapolis show seems a bit looser than those two but contains the same high level of energy and fun throughout.

I have edited out the 2 pre-recorded classical transition pieces "Night On Bald Mountain" as well as the closing "God Bless America" recording.

Quality is very good, there is a very slight high pitched hum during "Billion Dollar Babies" and just a bit of "Elected" it then goes away, not really noticeable unless using headphones and can easily be adjusted out with a bit of equalization on playback (I didn't even really notice it until I used headphones).

Enjoy!

Was there a Muscle Of Love Tour? Or, was this the last time around for the great group? Either way, keep them coming. This line-up could never be replaced nor were they musically stale when Vinnie vent Vegas. Tragedy is comedy! The Colgate invisible shield finally got 'em! (Flouride poisoning)...
PS- mjk? sounds TOOLish!

The above, as with most of the comments, are the information file that comes with the concert. I don't writes 'em.

I don't know much of anything about Alice or his music. He was on the Muppet Show once. And, Syd stayed at Alice's pad for about 2 days back in 1967. Beyond that - zilch.

All of that is worth knowing. Thanks, for it was brand new to me. Early Alice is best. Pretties For You still maintains its status as a cultural music stone skipping across the waters of time...seeking its proper womb for the birth of its Buddha nature. Then its ripples will be seen and felt in the calm pond of normalcy. What a great and scary album it is...and still way ahead!
