Hello! Here is a new series from my collection. After the Master Series, here is the Special Series. Out of my 6,000+ shows and radio broadcasts, I have many concerts that were special for some reasons: the setlist, the musicians, the venue or unexpected events. These are the ones I'd like to propose you. Most of these come from my cassettes collection, so they will be released at a slower pace than my Master Series! But you won't be disappointed! I will try to gather the most unusual things I have in my collection and, as always, your feedback and comments will be my reward for all the work involved in this project.
THREE Boston, Paradise Theater 15 April 1988 FM
01.Fanfare for the common man 02.Desde la vida 03.Lover to lover 04.Hoedown 05.You do or you don't 06.Talkin' Bout 07.The fugue 08.Creole dance 09.On my way home 10.Runaway 11.Standing in the shadow of love 12.Medley: America / Blue Rondo / Toccata e Fuga / Drums Solo / Flight of the bumblebee 13.Eight miles high / Outro
Keith Emerson - keyboards, piano Robert Berry - bass, guitars, vocals carl Palmer - drums, percussions Lana Williams? - backing vocals
Lineage: WBCN broadcast > n generation tape > Aiwa Tape Deck AD-WX828 > Audigy Soundblaster > HD > SoundForge 7.0 > CD Wave >FLAC Frontend (level 6)
I have three nice radio broadcasts from 3, so what about sharing them all with you dimers? 3 was a short-lived band but I liked it's spirit, in a way they still were ELP but with a modern feeling and some good ideas. After all, I don't think the band could play over and over the same music of the 70's, and I guess 3 was the right answer. Right after the release of their debut album, they briefly toured North America for some 25 dates. No show was played in Europe. The band had some good exposure from US radio, that's why there are quite a few live broadcasts circulating. The three ones I have are for sure one of the best. Setlist was short but powerful. A real pity this outfit disbanded soon after. Enjoy!
