    notes:
It looks as though the owner of the Master Reels only transferred his reels a few times. Once
in 1995 using a Sony reel deck he made a saftey copy (Reel[1]). The second time the reels
were transferred was in 1999 for a collector using a Revox A77 reel deck, directy transferred
to a DAT[M] and given to that collector. The third time was in 2007 for Ron Toon and again it
was directly transferred to DAT[M] using a Revox A77 and was distributed on yeeshkul.com.

This seems to sound exactly like a supposed 1st gen that has been around. Same amount of hiss,
same faint line in the spectrum around 16khz, and same little drops in sound specifically at
28:38 into the recording during StC. This drop is not as prevelant on the recent Master, the
sound doesn't drop as much or for as long. There are what sound like little digi-tics or noise
in the same spots on this version and the supposed 1st gen. The recent 2007 transfer also has
these same spots. My assumption is that they are inherent to the Master Reels and not an
artifact of a digital transfer to DAT, as we so often see. Maybe it's mic static or something,
    I dunno.

There are times when this version and the supposed 1st gen clip a bit, like at the scream
during CwtAE. This does not clip on the 2007 Master transfer but there are little 1 or 2
second drops in sound that aren't on this version or the other supposed 1st gen and vice
versa. Personally I really like the sound of the supopsed 1st gen and this source here. It may
be a tad bit hissier but also a tad bit brighter to my ears. In any case, all the versions
are excellent and so close in sound it's really not a big deal.

Special thanks to lordsnooty for lending out some info about this recording and some of the
transfers that were made. His info was used for some of the info contained in these notes.
    Thanks!

All I did to this was cut a tad bit of silence at the begining and flac it.
